This slogan sums up why we created Eat Howl. Using plant-forward cooking techniques learned in some of the most top-end kitchens we create better-for-you foods that have the added benefit of a far smaller carbon footprint than the dairy products we mean to disrupt.

Please recycle everything you can! Currently our cartons and jars are recyclable, but unfortunately, we’re not able to recycle our pouches yet.  We’re working on it though and hope to have recyclable pouches soon.

We like adding salt to the pasta water (to create that salty, starchy water otherwise known as liquid gold).  It also gives the pasta more depth of flavor. We add a bit of reserved pasta water back to the pot after draining to thin out the cashew sauce. If you have concerns about sodium though, you can always leave the salt out.  Don’t worry it will still taste amazing!

No! It’s a common misconception that the oil prevents the pasta from sticking together. But in reality it just prevents the tasty sauces from sticking well to the pasta. If you want to avoid pasta sticking together, just give it a quick stir right after you add the pasta to the boiling water.

Pease refer to the best if used by date. Once opened, we recommend refrigerating any unused product (if you can help yourself from eating it all!) and consume it within 7-10 days.

Yes, our products contain Cashews, which is a Tree Nut. We also use Durum Semolina Flour, which is a form of Wheat, in our mac and cheese. Our cashew cheese is gluten free, but our macaroni does contain gluten (don't worry, we're working on a gluten-free offering). If you do have any allergies please refer to the ingredient deck and if you’re still not sure, consult your doctor or allergist before eating.

Our products contain Cashews, which is a Tree Nut. So unfortunately you should NOT eat our products if you have a Tree Nut allergy. And while we love when you share our great food with your friends and family, please make sure they don’t have any allergy concerns either.

All our products are proudly certified vegan by Vegan Action / Vegan Awareness Foundation. We do not use any animal products and we do not do any testing on animals either. We'll also NEVER use Palm Oil, which is a leading cause of deforestation and destruction of animal habitats.

Yes. All of our ingredients are Non-GMO.

Our cashew cheese and cashew quesos are Gluten Free.  However, the mac and cheese uses a Semolina Flour Macaroni, which is not Gluten Free. Don’t worry though we’re releasing a Gluten Free version soon.  It will use the same cashew sauce and just swap in a Gluten Free pasta. 

We try to use organic ingredients wherever possible.  But we can’t yet get Organic Cashews.  Actually the Raw Cashews we source come from trees that are older than the concept of Organic Certification, so unfortunately they can’t get certified.  But we’re looking into Organic Cashew options. Stay tuned.

The ketogenic diet is a low-carb, high-fat diet that offers many health benefits. Our Cashew Queso is definitely Keto friendly as it gives you lots of good fats from Cashews. But the mac and cheese product does include pasta, so you’ll probably want to avoid that.

The Howl products are all vegan and contain no animal products, however, it’s going to take a bit of time to get the kosher certification. So for now, we unfortunately can’t officially claim Kosher. But don’t worry, we’ll get Kosher and Pareve certification soon.
